Collins, Davidson, Farrington, and Angier Photographs
This collection is comprised of three photographs of Sam Houston Normal Institute (now Sam Houston State University) alumni and prominent Huntsville individuals Vinson A. Collins, Oscar L. Davidson, Claude B. Farrington, and Eugene L. Angier. The photos are dated approximately to the 1940s, with the exact date and year they were taken being unknown.
Eleanor Smith Garrett Collection

The paper materials within this collection were found in the Alcalde upon donation.

This collection is composed of thirty-five letter-sized boxes of reports to the Board of Regents written by Sam Houston State Teachers/Sam Houston State College/Sam Houston State University Presidents from 1934 to 1993.
Presidents with written reports in this collection are Harry F. Estill, Charles Norton Shaver, Harmon L. Lowman, Arleigh B. Templeton, Elliott T. Bowers, and Martin J. Anisman.
Sam Houston State Teachers College Semi-Centennial Celebration and Library Opening Scrapbook
This scrapbook contains materials spanning March 1929-Febuary 1930 related to Sam Houston State Teacher’s College (SHSTC) Semi-Centennial Celebration, the Dedication and Formal Opening of the Harry F.
